First and foremost, I am happy to report all good news on the medical front!
Thorough eye exams with my Ophthalmologist showed nothing, which is exactly what I want to hear! My oncologist delivered the news that my brain MRI is clear, and bloodwork is all good. Although I’m getting better at calming myself during these exams and tests, I can’t describe the level of relief when these reports confirm all is well with my health. I am extremely grateful to the doctors and facilities that support me, and give huge thanks to Ivey Eye Institute, Juravinski, and their teams for their incredible expertise and efficiency. And as always, key individuals by my side make all the difference. You know who you are ❤️
My other happy news is that I’m back in St. Maarten, which many of you know is my winter home. The warmth, sunshine and community of friends here fill my heart and soul. I feel grateful to have the love and support of my amazing family and friends both in Canada and St. Maarten!
